Players and other survivors must now band together in settlements to survive. In the game’s world, the governments of the world have fallen to a virus that creates the undead. Rebuild-Creating SettlementsThis is the MMO base building portion of the game and makes up State of Survival’s core objective. The game is filled with smart game mechanics, challenging objectives, rich stories, and more social activities than one might think available during the apocalypse. Meaning, State of Survival doesn’t just look good. From there, the game takes clever inspiration from other genres such as massively multiplayer games, role playing games (RPGs), real time strategy (RTS), and both tower and wave defense. The gameplay starts with a base building strategy game surrounded by armies of walking corpses and a robust PvE element. And it’s brought a lot of really cool stuff with it. Meaning there’s never been a better time to jump into the end of the world. To celebrate its first birthday, the game is throwing a bash complete with in-game events and a DJ-run discord party.
It brings some smart ideas to iOS and Android… and an insatiable hunger for brains and battle.
